Villa Zina Park Hotel is not simply a hotel. It is an observation point, which reveals a beautiful landscape and a complexity of natural riches.
The hotel, located behind the mountains of the beautiful “Zingaro Natural Reserve” and the crystal clear waters of San Vito lo Capo, offers wonderful panoramas from its terraces. From the terrace restaurant it’s also possible to see the flight of Royal Eagles, unfortunately on the verge of extinction.
There is also an exquisite view of Mount Cofano, a natural reserve with a beautiful landscape, which towers over the Cornino bay.
The medieval city Erice, located on the summit of Mount San Giuliano, is only a 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Walking through the narrow stone streets of the city one can admire the pre-Roman external walls, the battlements of the Norman Castle, the Gothic Cathedral, and the typical houses with wonderful Arabic style courtyards.
The city of Trapani (departure point for the Egadi Islands and North Africa) with its famous salt-ponds, the city of Marsala (famous for the wine named after it), the Phoenician island of Mozia, Segesta (with its perfectly maintained 2,500 year old Doric temple and Greek/Roman theatre), Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello (with its rocky sea coast and craggy sea rock formations) and Favignana are but a short drive away.
The little town of Custonaci famous for its marble quarries, nature and tourism, is also known for its Christmas Nativity Scenes (utilizing live characters to portray the birth of Christ) which are held in the Mangiapane Grotto (open from July to September as Museum).
